I am excited to announce that this weeks Sketches! Guest Designer is:

Stephanie Hargis

My name is Stephanie Hargis. I will have been married 1 year this July to a wonderful man. We live in the beautiful state of Colorado and we absolutely love it here. I teach 2nd grade and find such a joy in it!

I was introduced to stamping back in November and have been obsessed ever since!

Need Another Sketch?

I was contacted by Itty Bitty Scrap Shack and asked to make an Exclusive Sketch for them. It was posted this past week. I made a Layout Sketch and so far, everyone has taken that Sketch and made cards. So whether you are a Card Maker or Scrap Layouts, this sketch would work for you.

Card Sketch #44

If you visit the Sketches! Blog regularly, then you know I was on vacation this past week. I have some of my Vacation Pictures up on my Personal Blog. We went over to Neuschwanstein Castle. Feel free to check it out. It is very beautiful! Living In Germany I will be adding more pictures as I have several pictures of the Alps and also went over to the Dachau Concentration Camp.

This weeks sketch was made with a 3 x 3 card in mind. But as I told the design team when I gave them the sketch, they didn't have to make a 3 x 3 card. Not everyone likes them. So I love that everyone took something from the sketch and then made it their own. To me, that is what a sketch is for. To inspire and help you get started. But in the end, it is your creation.

Here is this week's Layout Sketch. It is late in the night here in Germany, but I am getting this uploaded on Tuesday just as promised. We got in a lot later tonight than I anticipated, but couldn't go to bed without first coming to the computer.

A Sketches! Update

Happy Friday Everyone!

I just wanted to make a quick update on the blog. I am going out of town today. We are driving down south to Bavaria here in Germany. It should be a lot of fun. And of course, I can not wait to take lots of great pictures.

Because I will be gone, there will be no Guest Designer tomorrow. But we will pick back up next week. I have two FANTASTIC Guest Designers lined up for the following two weeks. Make sure you use a sketch and link your work here on the blog for your chance to become a Sketches! Guest Designer.

Also, Monday's Layout Sketch will be posted on Tuesday next week. I get back in town Tuesday and will upload the Layout Sketch then.
