This week's Design Team Spotlight is:

Krista Hanna

My name is Krista Hanna and I am a work at home mom who loves to scrapbook! My husband and I have a son and a daughter who are my ultimate scrapbook inspiration. During the day I provide child care for six children besides my own, and I sneak away to my craft room to scrapbook during naptime and after bedtime. I have always been crafty and I am always looking for new fun things to try. I have been scrapbooking for nearly 5 years and would describe my style as decorative. I don't follow any written rule when it comes to creating, I do what feels right and looks great! I especially like to create altered items and mini books. Recipe Challenge #36

These challenges can be used on cards or layouts.

I will give a list of three items that must be used on a card or layout. You are not limited to only the three items listed. You can use as many items on your layout or cards as you wish. But the minimum on it must be what is listed in the recipe.

This weeks Recipe came from Kathleen, one of the Recipe Design Team Members.

Create a card or layout using the following items:

• Use something you have been hoarding
• flowers
• bling

Sketches! Guest Designer: Robbie Herring

I am so excited to announce this weeks Sketches! Guest Designer is:

ROBBIE HERRING

I am a born and bred Texan, who has been married 21 years. My husband and I have two great kids who are my inspiration. I am a craft junkie. I think I’ve tried just about everything. In addition to scrapbooking, I enjoy sewing and painting. Some friends introduced me to scrapbooking about 3 ½ years ago. I started out thinking that I would make a senior album for each my kids and that would be the extent of my involvement. I was immediately hooked! In scrapbooking, I have found a craft that allows me to do something I love creatively and preserve our family memories at the same time. For me, that is a perfect combination.

I have recently become an empty nester, so I have even more time to play with my supplies. Thankfully, I’m also married to someone who encourages and supports my habit! I love everything shiny, paper and you will almost always find a piece of ribbon on my layouts.
I truly hope that long after I’m gone, my family and descendants will look at our books and know who we were and where they came from.

I am currently a Design Team member for Zva Creative and My Creative Scrapbook.

I am honored to have been asked to design for you!

I asked Robbie to choose a Layout Sketch to work with and she chose Sketch #59.
