I am excited to announce that this week's Sketches! Guest Designer is:

Paula Atkinson

Paula has been a regular on the Sketches! blog using the Sketches and uploading her cards for us all to drool over. I appreciate her because knowing there is someone out there using my sketches, keeps me making more. She is good for my ego. {giggle} Paula is very talented. All you have to do is check out her blog for yourself to see. Here is what Paula has to say:

I am Paula & I recently turned 41.

I have been crafting a long time.Doing all kinds of stuff from knitting to cards.I am a scrapbooker as well as card maker but am known more for my minibooks amongst work colleauges & friends.

I love rubber stamps, Basic Grey papers & Rangers Distress Inks. I like to make my own backgrounds but love the beautiful papers on this one I made.(BG Blush) I like using brads, luggage tags & stamped sections on mydesigns.

I had a starbook published in Scrapbook Inspirations last January but the majority of my work is on my blog http://minibookpixie.blogspot.com

I am a member of a Team & also a forum based around mixed media which is an area I am moving towards as another way to release tension after a full dayat the office. Basically Im happy if my fingers are dirty!!!

Layout Sketch #37

Happy Monday Everyone! I hope you all had a fabulous Easter. We did here and I got some great photos that I can not wait to get printed and to scrap.

This week, I have a one photo sketch. Like I have said in the past, I am not such a fan of only one picture on a page. I tend to focus on the multiple photos. But I know there are others who do like one picture and it is also good to mix things up a bit. Thank You to the Design Team for the great Layouts.

Sketches! Guest Designer: Bethany Stouvenel

I am pleased to announce that our First Sketches! Guest Designer is:

Bethany Stouvenel

Bethany was the first person to sign up for the Sketches! Email Subscription and has linked several of her layouts in the comment section since I started the Sketches! Blog back in June 2007. She is very talented and I am constantly in awe of her amazing pages and projects she makes. I am very grateful for the friendship I have with Bethany and the support she continually gives me on my Sketches! Journey. With that, I have chosen her to be our first Sketches! Guest Designer.

Let's all get to know Bethany! Here is what she had to say:

My name Is Bethany Stouvenel. I have a wonderful husband Trent & 3 great kids, 2 boys, James (12) & Logan (almost 2) & my bebe girl Kenzie (4 months).I have been scrapping for a little over 2 years. My favorite scrappy subjects are definitely my kiddos! Having 3 kids makes it somewhat challenging to find time to scrap but gives me lots of opportunity to take tons of pictures to scrap!

I love patterned paper!! and chipboard alphas! I am not sure I have a favorite manufacturer, there are so many out there & so much yummy new stuff being released! I am having a Scenic Route obsession lately. But, who knows what it will be tomorrow? :) Oh & I love me some Stickles!! love em! If you dont have any yet you really NEED to get some! I use them on almost every layout I do, even my boy layouts :)

My favorite online scrappy hangout is Scrap Freak. They are a wonderful group of ladies, in fact that is where I met Tamara! I spend more time there than I would care to admit LOL but it is a wonderful website and, what can I say? I love it there :) it helps keeps me sane.

My blog addy is www.jamesandlogansmom.blogspot.com (I started it before my little girly was born, oopsie). I try to blog often but, never as much as I should.

I am totally excited & honored that Tam asked me to be the first Guest Designer on her Sketch blog!! The sketches that she creates are so inspiring & I am so thrilled to be showcased on this wonderful blog!! Thank you Tamara {{{hugs}}}

Card Sketch #36

Here is this week's sketch. I love how the Design Team Members made their cards all different. Some of the cards made are the normal standard size cards. There is also square cards and long cards. I love it!
