Sketches! Guest Designer: Colleen Wold

I am excited to announce that this weeks Sketches! Guest Designer is:

Colleen Wold

Hi! My name is Colleen Wold. I am 29 years old (and soon to be 30)! I have been married to my wonderful husband Rich for almost 5 years (our anniversary is on Valentine’s Day) and I am also a mommy to an adorable 22 month old boy named Jax. I live in a suburb about 25 miles west of Chicago, IL.

I started scrapbooking about 11 years ago and about 7 years ago I went to a Stampin’ Up! Party and fell in love! Scrapbooking fell to the side and I immediately dove into cardmaking. I haven’t stopped since. Sadly, I am way behind in scrapping, but last year I started dabbling in digiscrapping and when I find the time I try to put pages together. If only I could put down those stamps! LOL! I started my very own blog earlier this year – Glitter Ink (www.glitterink.blogspot.com). I love being able to share all of my creations and I especially love a good sketch! I was so excited to find Tamara’s blog. Sketches are a really great inspiration and motivation to me, especially when I am having “stamper’s block.”

I definitely think my overall style is “cutesy” but my all time favorite items/ingredients to use on my creations are PINK, GLITTER, and most recently I am addicted to POLKA DOTS! Chances are you won’t find a card of mine without glitter. My motto is “Glitter makes everything better!” It’s just not a card without some sparkle and bling!
